The state-owned enterprise Khartsyzsk Steel and Wire Rope Plant Silur is a diversified hardware enterprise with 70 years of production experience and modern technology, testing equipment and wire production facilities.
Products manufactured at the Silur plant are used in the coal industry, mining, oil and oil refining industries, and metallurgy; industrial, transport and agricultural engineering; in the rubber industry; in the construction industry, in the printing industry; in sea and river economy; in elevator and brake systems and others.
The products of Khartsyzsk steelworkers were exported to dozens of countries of the world, used in the construction of such world-famous facilities as the Ostankino TV tower, the Yevgeny Vuchetich’s monument “Mother Mother Calls” in Volgograd, cable-stayed bridges in Riga and Kiev, as well as Khmelnitsky, South-Ukrainian and Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plants .
